What is Runes?

An integral part of our life's purpose is to learn lessons and gain knowledge and wisdom. Since the dawn of time, humankind has found signs and symbols fascinating and powerful. The power of the runes comes in what they have to teach us. The runes present lessons to us and, if used wisely, can facilitate the learning of those lessons quickly and efficiently.

The runes do not provide the answers to all of life's problems. Neither do they instil their user with magical powers. They do, however, present signposts for the journey through life. The runes represent certain images, and by working with these, their guidance and teaching becomes accessible to all. The lore of rune-casting was once the domain of a chosen few, when only a minority sought spiritual enlightenment. Today, many people seek answers to questions, and these "seekers of wisdom" should have access to clear instruction this ancient oracle.

The way of the runes is subtle but powerful and can have a profound effect on many levels. They are used not only for divination, but for protection, healing, empowerment and learning. The mystery of the runes is not a mystery at all; it is simply a path towards greater learning that anyone can tread.
