Psychological Counselling

Psychological counselling is another utilization of graphology. Psychologists, Social Workers holding an MSQ, and experienced, qualified counselors from one of the many counseling fields will find the addition of graphological skills an important tool. Graphology is a valid, useful tool but it is only one more instrument to use for better understanding a client. It is not a means unto itself! That means that just because an individual has mastered many rudiments of graphology does not make her an expert in "helping folks". Most graphologists who counsel clients have been educated and supervised in some other field of counseling or have been associated with counseling in some way. Psychologists do rely on graphologists to do a profile of a client's personality to help identify hidden problem areas.
