ISHTAR, Gods own shade under the sun. A place where one can rest during the journey of life to drink from the spiritual fountain, the nectar of peace and joy.
It is a shelter for the mind, ravished in the materialistic environment of perpetual unhappiness, stress and competition. It is the cove for cleansing the layers of misery that have enveloped our soul. To bring out its natural splendor which shines bright in the supreme blissful state of inner ecstasy. If one were to search the essence of true human self, one could find the answer on the face of a small child. The peace, joy and radiance that one gets to see there is what the Universe had intended for us all. ISHTAR is the banyan tree that gives you the shade to reach that pristine destination of inner tranquility.
We at ISHTAR have immense faith in the process of Un-learning. All knowledge is within us, we just have to clear the excess and irrelevant luggage that has been piled on it. We are just like a beautiful mirror that has been covered by dust. The image is always there, but can be seen only after the dust has been wiped clean from it. It is this basic fundamental premise that makes us treat all the souls that come to ISHTAR individually at the onset to understand its karmic nature. It is important to find out the root of our sorrow, and work on it. Just like a tree, the roots of our grief are below the surface, within our sub-consciousness. We use our past experience and knowledge to negate the line dividing the conscience from the sub-conscience.
Light of ISHTAR is shining bright because of the people who were ones themselves in the dark gloom of the life and who were lucky to rediscover the path of joy from within.
