We at ISHTAR use physical Reiki for healing physical emotional or mental aliment. At ISHTAR while physical Reiki the healer used both hands for Reiki healing. They are placed on the Reiki positions and rested gently. They completely relaxed and without exerted pressure. The life force energy or ki that produces the healing flows through the chakras in the center of the palms and the tips of each finger with the intention to heal. Reiki automatically starts though and the patient feels the healing accruing in there body.
